Privacy policy.
How DailyCalc handles your data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Data Controller
The data controller responsible for this website is:
Jonas Jakob Stefan
Emmersdorfer Straße 15
9061 Klagenfurt am Wörthersee, Austria
[email protected]
2. Overview
DailyCalc is designed with privacy at its core. All calculator computations run entirely in your browser — your inputs and results are never sent to our servers.
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site and the optional AI Assistant transmits data when actively used. Both are described in detail below.
3. Calculator Usage
When you use any calculator on DailyCalc, all processing happens locally in your browser using JavaScript. No personal data — including health metrics, body measurements, or fitness values — is sent to our servers or any third party.
We do not store, log, or have access to any values you enter into our calculators.
4. AI Assistant
Each calculator page includes an optional AI Assistant powered by Google Gemini. If you choose to use it, the following data is sent to our server and forwarded to the Google Gemini API:
- Your question or message
- The name of the calculator you are using
- The values you entered into the calculator
- The calculated results
This data is transmitted only when you actively send a message in the AI Assistant. It is not stored on our servers — it is forwarded to Google in real time and discarded after the response is returned to you.
Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can review Google's data handling practices at policies.google.com/privacy.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — consent. You choose whether to use the AI Assistant. If you prefer not to share data with Google, simply do not use this feature.
5. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as pages visited, time spent on the site, referral sources, and general geographic region. This helps us understand how the site is used and improve its content and performance.
Google Analytics may collect the following data:
- Pages viewed and interactions
- Approximate geographic location (country/city level)
- Device type, browser, and operating system
- Referral source (how you arrived at the site)
- Session duration and frequency of visits
Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish unique users and sessions. IP addresses are anonymized before being processed. We do not use Google Analytics to identify individual visitors or combine this data with other personal information.
Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can review Google's data handling practices at policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in understanding site usage to improve our service.
International transfer:Google is based in the United States. Data transfers are covered by Google's Data Processing Terms and the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
6. Google Search Console
We use Google Search Console to monitor how our site appears in Google Search results. This service provides us with aggregated, anonymous data about search queries, click-through rates, and indexing status. Google Search Console does not place cookies on your device or collect personal data from visitors.
7. Server Logs
Our web server and CDN provider (Cloudflare) automatically collect standard server log data when you visit the site. This may include:
- IP address
- Date and time of access
- Pages requested

- Referrer URL
This data is used to operate and secure the website. We do not combine this data with other sources or use it to identify individual users.
