Calculators that respect your privacy.
DailyCalc exists because health tools should be free, accurate, and private. No tracking. No accounts. No nonsense.
Everyone deserves to understand the numbers behind their own body.
We believe knowledge about your own health shouldn't be gatekept behind paywalls, sign-up walls, or vague black-box apps that just spit out a number. Everyone has the right to learn, to understand, and to calculate anything they want to know about themselves — for free, and without handing over their data.
So we don't just give you a result. We show you the formula behind it, explain what it actually means, and link the research it comes from — so you can check our work and genuinely understand it, not just trust it.
Four principles that guide every calculator we build.
Science first
Every calculator is built on peer-reviewed formulas from organizations like the WHO, CDC, NIH, and ACSM. We cite our sources so you can verify.
Privacy by design
All calculations run locally in your browser. Zero data collection, zero tracking, zero server-side processing. Your health data stays yours.
Instant & accessible
No accounts, no paywalls, no app downloads. Open the page, enter your data, get results. Works on any device with a browser.
Free forever
We believe health tools shouldn't be locked behind subscriptions. DailyCalc is and will remain 100% free with no premium tiers.
Built by one person who genuinely cares about getting it right.
DailyCalc is built and maintained by a professional software engineer who also happens to be a strength and cardio training enthusiast.
That combination is kind of the whole point: someone who actually lifts and runs, but who also can't use a calculator without wanting to know exactly how it arrived at the number.
A lot of fitness calculators are thin wrappers around a formula nobody bothered to explain — and half the time it's wrong, outdated, or made up.
I got tired of reverse-engineering them to check whether I could trust the result, so I started building my own — properly sourced, transparent, and fast. Being a programmer means I care about the things most calculator sites ignore: pages that load instantly, math that runs privately in your browser, and results you can actually verify. Being a training enthusiast means I care that the numbers are genuinely useful to someone in the gym — not just technically correct.
— The engineer behind DailyCalc
Our formulas come from trusted institutions — and we link them.
Every calculator on DailyCalc is built on an established, peer-reviewed equation, and we name and link the source directly on the page. No invented formulas, no guesswork — if you want to read the original research or guideline behind a result, it's one click away.
Think one of our formulas is off, or know of a better-sourced equation? We genuinely want to know — tell us and we'll dig into it.
